What can I convert?
Short local MP4/MOV, WebM/MKV, WAV, MP3, M4A/AAC, Ogg and FLAC files, when their codecs are readable here. WAV 16-bit PCM export is built in. MP4 (H.264 + AAC), WebM (VP8 + Opus), M4A (AAC) and Ogg (Opus) appear only when the needed native encoders and input decoders are available. You can also repack compatible video streams to MP4 or WebM without re-encoding. MP3 encoding, encrypted media, subtitles and playlists are not supported.
Which browsers work?
Use a current browser with WebCodecs. Support depends on your browser, operating system and hardware. We check exact input decoders and output configurations, so unavailable profiles are excluded. WAV and repacking have fewer encoder requirements. Mobile devices may run out of memory even within the limits; a desktop browser is best for video.
Privacy, limits and open source
The converter has no file upload endpoint, account or third-party runtime libraries. Your file is read only by your browser. The hosting provider receives ordinary requests when you load this website. Inputs are limited to 25 MiB, 60 seconds, 1080p (maximum dimension 1920 pixels); outputs to 50 MiB. A three-minute processing watchdog stops stalled jobs. This is a focused short-clip tool, not an unlimited cloud converter.
